Hi, I’m Karla Jo and I’m so glad you’re here.

This little corner of the internet was born from a deep desire to help others connect with God’s Word in a real and personal way. Whether I’m writing a devotional, studying a book or passage, or telling a personal story from my life, my goal is always the same: to point you back to Jesus.

I believe Scripture is more than just an ancient book — it’s the standard by which we measure truth. It is a living Word, and when we let it seep into our heart, it changes us. Through these pages, I hope to offer hope for hard days, wisdom from the Word, encouragement for your faith, and reminders that together, we are the Church, His Beloved.

I’m passionate about helping believers grow in faith, trust God more deeply, and walk confidently in their identity as sons and daughters of God. I have learned over the years that authenticity invites authenticity. So, I strive to be real in whatever story I’m telling. It’s not always pretty, but it’s honest, and I hope it invites you to tell your authentic story.

Well, I love to travel, but rarely go anywhere. So I guess I love the idea of travel, while having no time or $$ to actually travel. *sigh.* Also, I’m married, with two adult children and four grandchildren. I live in Texas, a nice cozy spot next to the sun. And lastly, I just cannot sleep without socks on. I’ve tried. Can’t do it.
